| To reach the falls Follow US441 north out of Tallulah Falls for 2 miles and turn on Old 441 at the Rabun Beach Recreation Area sign. Follow Old 441 for 2.5 miles and turn left on Lake Rabun Road. Proceed along the shore of Lake Rabun for 4 miles to the Rabun Beach Camping Area #2, Continue to the daily fee day use parking area at the back of the camping area. The hike is a moderately hike of about a half mile along Joe Branch Creek. You can continue to ascend steeply another 600 yards through a rhododendron canopy along a number of cascades to the viewing platform at the much larger Angel Falls. |
