To reach the falls follow Hwy. 76 West from Clayton for 8 miles to Persimmon Rd. Turn right on Persimmon Rd. and go 5 miles to the junction of Persimmon Rd and Patterson Gap Rd. Take the left fork for two more miles and park in the pull off on the right just before crossing the bridge over Kilby Creek. Walk up the right side of Kilby Creek a short distance to the point where a branch enters on the right. Walk up the right side of the branch again a short distance to a crossing on stones. Follow this trail back to Kilby Creek. The lower falls is partially obscured by trees. Pass this falls on the right to the upper falls. GPS and Topo Data -
